The Sunday Experience

When are services?

We have 2 services each Sunday, Reflective and Traditional:

The 8:30AM Reflective service is 30 to 45 minutes in length and includes reflection and voluntary discussion on the pastors message.  This service includes all components of our Traditional service except music.

The 9:45AM Traditional Service is about 60 minutes in length and includes music, scripture readings, prayer and a sermon. Communion is offered on the 1st Sunday of every month. Beginning in June,  this worship service is held outdoors in our shaded grove. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket if you wish!

Our services are designed to encourage you to think and grow in your faith journey. Children of all ages are always welcome at Shenkel Church.

What should I wear?

Come as you are!  All are welcome.  While some enjoy dressing up on Sunday mornings, casual and comfortable are OK too! Feel free to bring along your coffee!

Do you have Church School?

Yes! Children ages 3 through 6th grade are invited to attend Church School held on the 3rd Sunday each month during the school calendar year. Church School runs from 11AM to 12 Noon. Space is available at the church for any parents who wish to stay while their child attends.

Is Shenkel handicap accessible?

YES! Our sanctuary upstairs as well as our downstairs social hall are both wheelchair accessible.
