The Sunday Experience

When are services?

We have 2 services each Sunday, reflective and traditional:

​

8:30 Reflective service is about 45 minutes in length and includes more informal and interactive worship without music.

 

9:45 Traditional Service is about 60 minutes in length and includes music, children’s time, scripture readings, and a sermon. Note: Summer months this worship service is held outdoors in our grove. Bring your own lawn chair if you wish!

 

Our services do not provide you with all the answers. Rather, we hope that they encourage you to think and make up your own mind about their meaning.

 

What should I wear?

Come as you are!  All are welcome.  While some enjoy dressing up on Sunday mornings, casual and comfortable are OK too! Feel free to bring along your coffee!

 

Do you have a nursery?

YES! Our nursery is available beginning at 9:30am for children ages 5 and under.  Children may stay with their families for the first 15 minutes of worship through our children’s time, after which our nursery attendant will bring them downstairs for the remainder of service. Children are also welcome to remain in worship with you.

 

Do you have Sunday School?

Yes! Children ages Kindergarten to 6th grade are invited to attend Sunday School during the late service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.

 

Is Shenkel handicap accessible?

YES! Our sanctuary upstairs as well as our downstairs social hall are both wheelchair accessible.
